What’s New is Old

Take CAT-5 wiring, underground parking with surveillance, fancy Grohe faucets, wrap it up in Victorian architecture (circa late 1800s) and you have 199 Tiffany Avenue. You wouldn’t know it looking at it from across the street but the condo was built as new construction in 2003; such is San Franciscans’ reluctance to give up their past.

List price on today’s most-clicked on property is $589,000: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 927 square feet. All the units in the building have 2 beds and 2 baths, so pick by view and floorplan. If you’re lucky, you might get a commanding view of all those old lookin’ homes you can snicker at.

Oh wait.
