Berkeley: Newly Listed Home On Claremont Avenue
At the end of August I alerted you to a “coming soon” home on the Berkeley end of Claremont Avenue. It’s now listed and open to viewers.
3202 Claremont Avenue is a 4/3.5 home built in 1920 on a 3,049 sq ft lot. It’s described as being “sunny” and having a “recently updated” kitchen, original details, and inlaid floors.
Its asking price is $1,150,000 which is $398 per sq ft — very low for this neck of the woods. The exterior of the house and the glimpses I have had of the interiors at night (always the best time to snoop around I find) suggest a classy home in good condition. Bear in mind the location on that main road though.
